Keeping my groove going strong.

And now we are on to Day 5. Have you been working on 21 days for a new habit with me? I hope you are. Just think what we could accomplish! This afternoon I’m going to hop back on the elliptical again – it will be day one, but there is no better day than today.

Do you EQ? I recently upgraded to EQ7 because they made it available for Mac. I was pretty excited about that development. Anyway, The Tribe has tried, unsuccessfully, to start a block exchange. I know I’ve mentioned it before. Ruby and I had at one point attempted to draft up our own monkey quilt blocks. They were pretty funny. I found them while cleaning up my sewing room and thought it would be fun to get them back out and renew the idea. This time I thought I would model it after the members in The Tribe.

To that end, I sent them an email telling them what I was up to and asking them for some input on they would like their doppelgänger to look like. They were having a good time with this idea….. One of them wanted to be like Rumpelstiltskin spinning bananas into gold. Another wanted to be the Hindu goddess Kali with 6 arms. Another wanted wine. Then someone wanted a wine IV. I can envision it, but I have a feeling I’m going to have a little trouble drafting some parts…. Let’s just say it’s still in the um, well, drafting stage. Who knows what the finished product will look like.  At this point, your guess is as good as mine.

I’m hoping that EQ will make this process a little easier once I learn how to use it a little better. I’m hoping to take some advantage of the online tutorials to get me moving in the right direction.  At least that is the plan.

Otherwise, there haven’t been too many shenanigans going on for us.  We have been fairly well-behaved this year….at least thus far.  I can’t say that we will stay that way.
